About Pastor Scott Conner
Pastor Scott Conner became Riverside's 25th pastor on September 1, 2014. Born and raised near Charleston, West Virginia, he and his wife Aneva have three adult children; two sons and one daughter. Pastor Conner holds a diploma in Christian Ministries and Theology from Tennessee Temple University. He has served as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Hamlet, North Carolina; and Youth Pastor at Beverly Hills Baptist Church, Rockingham and Calvary Baptist Church of Hamlet. Pastor Conner says, "God has given us the desire to share our faith; to disciple and prepare believers for life and service; to shepherd God's flock, and to preach the Word of God. We want to join others in authentic worship in the community of believers. Part of that includes group fellowship, corporate worship, the study of God's Word, building each other up, and evangelism and growth for God's glory."
